Eberhard Rabe, professor of Dermatology, is connected to the Department of Dermatology at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms Universität Bonn, Germany. He is specialized in diagnostic and treatment of acute and chronic venous diseases, lymphedema and associated pathologies. This includes diagnoses like varicose veins, deep venous thrombosis, postthrombotic syndrome, venous ulcers and venous malformations. Martino Neumann studied Medicine at the Rijksuniversity in Leiden and registered as a Dermatologist in 1980. He is connected as head of the department of Dermatology and Venereology of the Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam since 2002. He has positions in several the editorial boards such as Praktická Flebologie, the Venous Digest, and the American Journal of Drugs in Dermatology. He is a member of the scientific board of the Journal of Phlebology and advisor for Care4Cure Magazine. Besides this and many national and international positions as medical advisor, he is a member of the Dutch Society of Dermatology and Venereology, honorary member of the American Society of Phlebectomy, member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, the Société Française de Phlébologie, Dutch Society of Experimental Dermatology and the Society for the promotion of Nature, Medicine and Surgery.

Professor Alun H Davies MA,DM,DSc,FRCS, FHEA,FEBVS, FACPh. He is Professor of Vascular Surgery at Imperial College London and a Consultant Surgeon whose NHS practice is based at Charing Cross and St Mary's Hospital, London. Professor Davies trained in Cambridge, Oxford, Plymouth, Boston (USA) and Bristol, prior to taking up a Consultant appointment in Charing Cross in 1994. Professor Davies is regarded as a world expert in the management of venous disorder. He is the Editor in Chief of Phlebology, past President of the European Venous Forum & The Venous Forum at The Royal Society of Medicine . He is a Member of the American Venous Forum, the American College of Phlebology, Vascularl Society of Great Britain and Ireland, European Society of Vascular Surgery.Venous Association of India, Australasian College of Phlebology.. He has been a Hunterian Professor at the RCS, England and is an Emeritius Fellow of the Australasian College of Phlebology. He was the Chairman of the Varicose Vein Guideline Group for the NICE (National Institute of Clinical Excellence) and a member of the Quality Standards Group. He is a director of the European College of Phlebology and has co-chaired the ESVS guidelines group on the management of varicose veins. He has also written extensively on many aspects of venous disease, writing over 350peer reviewed manuscripts and runs a large research group. He has recently been award a DSc by the University of Oxford.

Cees H.A. Wittens, emeritus professor of Venous Surgery is specialized in haemodynamics, deep venous pathology, diagnostics and surgery. He is specialized in haemodynamics, deep venous pathology, diagnostics and surgery. Besides that he has realised many innovations within vascular surgery, especially venous surgery, such as the equiflow axillobifemoral bypass, the closed in situ bypass, SEPS endoscope, a new venous valve, a special cryoprobe, a thrombectomy device and recently a new dedicated venous stent.
He is involved in the development of Dutch and European guidelines, such as Claudicatio Intermittens, Ulcus cruris and Varicose Veins, and Management of Chronic Venous Disease.
He is founding member of the Dutch and European College of Phlebology, and member of the Dutch Society of Surgery and Vascular Surgery, the European Society of Vascular Surgery, the American en European Venous Forum, the Benelux Society of Phlebology, Dutch College and European College of Phlebology, Society of Vascular Surgery and the International Society of Vascular Surgery.
